Lesnar tops Couture to win UFC title - 16th November 2008

LAS VEGAS - Former WWE star Brock Lesnar made it to the top rank of mixed martial arts Saturday night, overcoming Randy Couture to grab the Ultimate Fighting Championship's heavyweight title. Lesnar, 31, outweighed the 45-year-old Couture by almost 50 pounds and took out the reigning champ with a combination of punches and elbows three minutes into the second round of the match at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. "He is just a big guy who caught me with a big shot," said Couture.
